Church Growth Ministry
This year we will have our Thanksgiving Dinner on November 23rd after Worship Service. We will be doing this different than we have in the past years: Church Growth will provide the meat (chicken and ham), drinks, and bread, with the side dishes and desserts being provided by the congregation. The lottery system will be used to determine who brings what, with one exception, those requested to bring dessert will be asked to bring pie (cherry, apple, pecan, or pumpkin pie with whipped topping).
We will have our annual Tasting Bee on December 7th after Worship Service and as in the past everyone will be asked to bring their favorite holiday finger food for sampling.
We will have a Christmas Dinner (something that we have not had in the past, but I believe is a good tradition to start) on December 21st after Worship Service. As with the Thanksgiving Dinner, Church Growth will provide the meat (beef and ham), drinks, and bread, with the side dishes and desserts being provided by the congregation. The lottery system will be used to determine who brings what category ofi food: Salad, Side, or Favorite Holiday Dessert.

A "church" is not a plot of ground with a pile of bricks and mortar on it. The church is a gathering of people, growing together in faith and reaching out to help build the Kingdom of God.
We at the Broadway Christian Church believe in the importance of fellowship. We need each other to keep us united in Jesus Christ and to equip us to be able to do God's work for this corner of His Kingdom. Through fellowship we become a healthy "Body of Christ." We are all different, but together we accomplish God's plan.
Opportunities for gathering include Church luncheons and suppers, community activities, movie nights, Children's Fall Festival and the Christmas Tasting Bee.
Another way to connect with other members is to become a part of our prayer chain and grapevine calling tree.
